Jindex was formed in 1985 by a group of Chemical Engineers who, from their extensive operational experience in the mineral processing sector, saw an opportunity to improve the traditional Pinch Valve design. Their knowledge of Industrial Chemistry, Process Technology and Business Management, as well as experience in the design, manufacture and sales of other types of valves since 1981 provided the input in 1995 for the successful patent of the Jindex “In-line sleeve replacement” concept.
