So there are large non-slam check valves, and then there are massive non-slam check valves! These impressive works are 66″ Non-Slam Axial Check Valves, manufactured by Europa Valve at our purpose-built valve manufacturing facility here in the UK. Maybe not the largest valves we have manufactured, we can produce up to 84″ Non-Slam Axial Check Valves if required.

66 Inch Class 125 Non Slam Check Valves — 66 Inch Class 125 Non Slam Axial Flow Check Valves

This was a bespoke manufacturing project for Linde, a leading industrial gas and engineering company. These check valves were designed and manufactured to the specific client requirements. The valves were then installed onto a critical saltwater cooling process line in Mexico. Given the challenging service environment, the valves were manufactured with corrosion-resistant alloys trim and lined valve bodies.

We were honoured to be involved in this project, proving yet again that Europa Valve are an effective supply chain partner for large-scale industrial projects across the world.

We were again pleased to work on another project for Petronas Carigali, where we have manufactured Axial Non-Slam Check Valves for an offshore gas project in Malaysia. Another example of our long-standing relationship with Petronas as we have been supplying them with Axial Non-Slam Check Valves for over 15 years.

Non-Slam Check Valves for Natural Gas in the Middle East

Europa Valve has recently completed an order of 6x 30” Class 600 Non-Slam Check Valves for a customer in the Middle East.

These valves have a duplex trim. The complete manufacturing of these valves, including a specialised quad coat painting system, was carried out in-house to meet the customer delivery and quality requirements.

The sizing of Non-Slam Check valves is critical to their performance and operation. We size all valves for their specific installation location and parameters.

36″ 600 RF Non Slam Check Valve

Here we show a 36” 600 Class Non-Slam Check Valve, required by one of our long-standing customers in North America. This order was a replacement for a competitor valve that had failed in service.

A challenging project, this valve replaced a competitor valve with a non-standard end to end length and was required to meet a very tight delivery window.

The team here at Europa Valve certainly had to raise our game to meet this challenge. We were able to carry out the entire production & delivery within 18 weeks from receipt of the order. The valve was delivered 14 days ahead of the quoted 20-week schedule.

66” Europa Valve Non Slam Check Valves

An order for 5x of our 66” Europa Valve Non Slam Check Valves which have just been dispatched and are currently on the ocean, enroute to a customer in Mexico for use in a Nitrogen Processing Facility.

These non-slam check valves will be used in a salt water service application. The client, a nitrogen processing facility in Mexico South America, required a quality check valve that is designed for a long service life without maintenance.

We design, manufacture and ship check valves for a wide range of custom applications such as this.

66” Non Slam Check Valve for Sea Water

Another 66” Non Slam Check Valve in production at our UK based check valve manufacturing facility.

This check valve has been design and manufactured for use in a sea water processing application. In such application, the non-slam sea water check valve will be fitted with Ebonite rubber lining – this procedure is also conducted by Europa Valve.

The carbon steel valve body with ebonite rubber lining is the most cost effective way to produce large diameter Non Slam Check Valves for salt water service.

66” Non Slam Check Valves

Here we have some Non Slam Check Valves which are just finishing manufacture and currently just completing coating.

These 10” and 12” Nozzle Check Valves have been designed and manufactured in the UK by Europa Valve and will soon be shipped to the Philippines for use in a gold mine.

The client has specified these check valves due to their extremely rapid response on a high critical application.

Non Slam Check Valve Machining

Non slam check valves going through machining in our UK based valve manufacturing facility.

These are 16” and 20” class 600 and 900 check valves in ASTM A216 WCB (Carbon Steel).

You will also see a very short video showing valves flange holes being drilled on a 5 axis CNC Horizontal Machining Centre which ensures unparalleled precision and quality.
