So there are large non-slam check valves, and then there are massive non-slam check valves! These impressive works are 66″ Non-Slam Axial Check Valves, manufactured by Europa Valve at our purpose-built valve manufacturing facility here in the UK. Maybe not the largest valves we have manufactured, we can produce up to 84″ Non-Slam Axial Check Valves if required.

This was a bespoke manufacturing project for Linde, a leading industrial gas and engineering company. These check valves were designed and manufactured to the specific client requirements. The valves were then installed onto a critical saltwater cooling process line in Mexico. Given the challenging service environment, the valves were manufactured with corrosion-resistant alloys trim and lined valve bodies.

We were honoured to be involved in this project, proving yet again that Europa Valve are an effective supply chain partner for large-scale industrial projects across the world.

We carry out all design, machining, assembly and testing right here in our facility in the United Kingdom. This allows us to manufacture a bespoke product as required.

We were again pleased to work on another project for Petronas Carigali, where we have manufactured Axial Non-Slam Check Valves for an offshore gas project in Malaysia. Non-Slam Check Valves for Natural Gas in the Middle East

Europa Valve has recently completed an order of 6x 30” Class 600 Non-Slam Check Valves for a customer in the Middle East.

These valves have a duplex trim. The complete manufacturing of these valves, including a specialised quad coat painting system, was carried out in-house to meet the customer delivery and quality requirements.

The sizing of Non-Slam Check valves is critical to their performance and operation. We size all valves for their specific installation location and parameters.

Non Slam Check Valve Machining

Non slam check valves going through machining in our UK based valve manufacturing facility.

These are 16” and 20” class 600 and 900 check valves in ASTM A216 WCB (Carbon Steel).

You will also see a very short video showing valves flange holes being drilled on a 5 axis CNC Horizontal Machining Centre which ensures unparalleled precision and quality.

All our design, machining, assembly and testing are carried out right here in our facility in the UK ensuring ultimate quality.

Axial Non Slam Check Valves

Another selection of Europa non-slam check valves which were shipped last week. These check valves were designed and manufactured by Europa Valve, for a Natural Gas Compressor station in North America.

In such projects, it is typically specified that there will be 30” Class 600 Non Slam Check Valves on discharge of compressor and then smaller 12” or 16” check valves used on recycle loop to allow soft start-up of compressor.

The Axial Non Slam Check Valve is the optimum check valve for this critical application as its gives the extremely fast shut off required to protect compressor. This combined with the aerodynamic design to allow for very low pressure drops.

Aluminium Bronze 20” valves

Some Aluminium Bronze 20” valves dispatching for an FPSO (Floating Production Storage and Offloading) owned by MODEC and under service with Petrobras.

These Europa Non Slam Axial Check Valves are being used in a critical application for fire water safety system. The Non Slam Check Valve is the ideal solution when long service life and total reliability are required.

Europa Valve was founded to manufacture high quality high performance non slam non return valves for the oil and gas, desalination, water and other process industries.

In 2007 Europa Valve identified that our worldwide customer base had even faster delivery requirements. To facilitate this we made an extensive capital investment and built a foundry in a facility connected to our works.

In 2009 Europa Valve was certified under the PED (Pressure Equipment Directive).

In 2012 the company continued to strive forward into new markets and has been developing new products to be introduced after rigorous testing in the near future.
